Installing a given localization in your PidginSnarl
Download the fitting localization file for your language. Extract the zip archive - you will get a single file called "pidginSnarl.mo"
The following language files are currently available:
Copy your downloaded language file into localization folder fitting your language within your Pidgin installation which can be found in a folder like "C:\Program Files\Pidgin\locale\yourLanguage\LC_MESSAGES". Pidgin needs to be restarted after this.

Creating your own localization
Download the template at http://mozillasnarls.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/mozillasnarls/PidginSnarl/trunk/pidginSnarl.pot
Download and install the Poedit translation tool and start it. Now open the downloaded template with Poedit by choosing "New catalog from POT file".
First enter all data about your localization (translations won't work without!) - you can change it afterwards using "Catalog ->Settings

Now you get a list of localizable strings on top of the window and can translate them.

When done choose save and a two files are created. Copy the file having the suffix .mo as described above into your localization folder of Pidgin (and be sure to name it pidginSnarl.mo).
Don't forget to send your completed translation to us so we can make it available to all users of PidginSnarl...
