ThunderSnarl displays notifications about new incoming mails as well for new entries in your RSS feeds subscriptions in Thunderbird 3.x using the notification system Snarl.

 

Can be widely configured using the add-ons-section of Mozilla Thunderbird.
Change the title and the text of notification using predefined or freeform values as well as the message-timeout.
